Although I am not sure what "jug" means, I guess I know what you mean by making the difference between jug and drink.
Jug (swallow in one shot, Russian style) - usually less than 7, but in a good company over long dinner if there is enough food (herring, pickled mushrooms, Russian dumplings etc., more about it here - http://fmukraine.org.ua/node/126 - I guess an avatar with "vadim" should be able to read Russian) and enough vodka, then it can be more.
Drink (like wine) - I don't drink vodka, it tastes terrible.

It depends on what kind of Vodka. mostly likely can drink till there is nothing else to drink. you know how we do. the vodka drinker of europe Russians and Polaks who don't even get along. just think if our people got together to drink wow.
