Well you can start by giving her compliments, and see how that works. You can also let her know that you like it a bit more than as a friend, and how she feels about that. When you talk to her make sure you are in a good frame of mind, let her know that whatever she says will be OK with you. Prepare yourself mentally in case is a no. But don't feel bad there is nothing wrong with you, maybe is not to be or maybe yes. One thing if she says no do not stop being her friend. The future brings many great things if you wait for it. hang on, be patience, carry on being a really good friend and don't scare her off by giving the wrong signals like being possessive(big turn off) or buying gifts which lovers do or etc...well hopefully one day she'll fall for u...! however don't hope highly cuz u might hurt urself by having lots of faith and sometimes a girl can tell from the beginning whether there's a chance of being more than a friend with that particular guy or remain friends but this doesnt apply to all girls...what u can do is to set her free and enjoy the friendship and perhaps one day she might realise what a better guy u are and come back to u for real, more than a friend...goodluck!

From personal experiance , I only have guys friends and I am a girl. When a friend that I trust comes on to me I am like why Cant I just have friends is that all the other sex thinks about BUT when there are sparks from both parties it will happen reguardless the circumstance it will it always does you cant stop it. So i say let it happen on its own. If it is meant to be it will

It's happen to all of us. This big problem. And rejection is very scary. Here are some hints that can show you if she likes you or not.
If she touches you while she talks.
If you both have long houred conversations.
If she smiles are you constantly or looks your way and then looks away when you do at the same time.
The best way to ease into telling her is asking her to hang out with you, and tell her if it would be okay if it was just you two.

Well i have a guy bff and he really liked me so he asked me out, well i said no (cause i had a boy friend) but the next day i woke up realizing like i really did have a crush on him! but he got over me (i guess over night) but what I'm saying is she will like u whether or not u guys fall in luv is well in Ur hands just ask her but take it slow if she says no make sure u guys can still be bffs and talk cause there is nothing better than having a guy friend to talk 2! when things get hard!

Well, its perfectly normal to b afraid.
Here is sth:
Don't approch her straight, its tough to get rid of 'Friend shell' to bcome 'BF shell'. You need to show that you can also be a BF type in eyes of other girls. It takes a jolt to get noticed. Stimes ppl r so close that they can't be seen.

follow these, if u play well you may gain:
1. Take another known girl out for a date.
2. come back to u'r girl and tell her how it went.
3. take a gap of 2-3 days.. away from your girl.
4. come back to her on 4th day, and look frantic and ask for her suggestion on how to approch a girl you are madly in love with..
5. than take a gap on 2-3 days and do what she says and ask her out.. send sth that she likes and mention that how you feel about her smile..

What's happened before? You asked a girl out and she turned you down? Welcome to being a man. Do you know how many times that is going to happen to you in your life? Don't let it get to you. You take a chance, you have a chance.
No girl is ever offended that a man asked her out. Even if you are not our type or we are already going with someone we are always, ALWAYS flattered.

Wow you are in the same boat im in except reversed. Just keep talking to her and she'll let you know if she likes you. Be her friend, if a girl trusts you then you have the hardest part done.

dont feel subject to her past relationships.everyone compared the new to the old but as long as your confidence can outweigh your fear youll do great.fear is good though,pushes you to do what ud otherwise avoid.
i say u not only complement her smile but tell her exactly the fears you stated..on the spot. that way your exposing yourself as you are,and she will be more engaged in the follwing conversation.
when it comes down to it.show her that your NOT afraid to show your fears,vulnerabilities.you'll feel much better.
