There are some people that do wait till after marriage to have sex, and I'm one of them. I believe in living by God's law. It's absolutely awful how some are living today; allowing their flesh to take over.

What you do now can affect your future. And the world wonders why families are breaking apart so easily. It's because they didn't follow God's rule or at least save themselves.

Here's a little fact:: Did you know that diseases are more common in people that have sex before marriage?!!!!!!

No nearly as many as in earlier decades.

I am not planning on getting married....

I think those that wait to have sex before marriage are making a mistake - some people are not sexually compatible and its much better knowing what you are getting yourself into before you are committed by marriage.

I don't have the stats but I didn't wait. I couldn't wait. I think that people who wait until they are married are no better than the people that don't. Just because I was ready to have sex and I wasn't married, doesn't mean anything. Everyone said that sex before marriage is a sin, but sex without the intention of procreating is a sin, no matter if it is in or out of wedlock.

i would say not very many because the media makes it ok for kids to have sex before there married. Personally I plan to wait until the perfect moment, whether that be b4 or after marrige. Although, it would have to be with the man I was planning on marrying. And my opinion of those who do is that their strong willed and have a great gift of personal restraint, and I say good for them.

i'm not sure how you would find the statistics... go to a website by searching "abstinence"... it may have what your looking for. I waited. My husband waited. A lot of young marrieds in my church waited. I have a couple that are friends with us who waited. There are definitely people who wait!! Its not the norm, but it happens and it can be done!

I don't know how many. I wish it were more.

No, I didn't, and I regret it very much.

Those who wait until marriage are much smarter than I was!

I recommend to everyone to wait until after marriage to have sex. When people get right with God and obey his laws, their lives [marriages and families] will be blessed beyond their imagination. Choose to disobey and choose to be cursed.
