My friend wants to come to USA, he is philippin and live in UAE, would that be easy to get the visa is he got an invitation form a well know hotel in USA ?

Its not easy to get into a country that gives strict requirements for a tourist visa.
He can visit the u.s.a if he can prove that he's visiting here as a tourist and nothing else. He also need a proof that he has sufficient funds and have a good reason on why he wont be staying long in the united states.
Why does he need a reason not to stay here? Well, many tourist visa holder comes in from other country and stays here as illegal workers. He needs a stable job in his own country or in the country where he is visiting from. He have to prove that he has a stable life and would do nothing else but visit the country.
The application for a tourist visa is a ***** though. It will take no less than a year or two. And he has to do several screening... its like a job application. hehehe.

I dont think they will accept invitation from well known hotel in USA. They will accept invitation from family, friends and relatives.
He should inquire to US embassy where he live right now regarding documents / requirements to get a tourist visa and also ask for an appointment for interview, do it at least 6 months before his plan to go to USA. There are other countries requires same documents. Good luck!

You can vacation in the USA for a few weeks, but to get a student visa you must be enrolled in a school in the USA. To get a work visa you must be able to perform a skill that is needed and be sponsored by an employer in the USA.
