Their religion, sex, race, or ethnic background would not factor in my voting decision.

Yes if I felt they would do a good job. I am LDS (Mormon) and I know LDS politicians I would never vote for. Their religion generally does not automatically make them qualified to do the job. It also does not make them the wrong person for the job.
It all depends on how good of a leader they will be, and how willing they are to actually stand up for what the constitution says. They also have to put this country first and really truelly love this country and be looking out for the best interst of this country.
by the way- the term "seperation of Church and state" appears nowhere in the constitution,

Yes, if their ideals matched my own. I like Mit Romney's ideas, but I'm not big on Harry Reid. I am Mormon, and will vote for one, but only because he has many similar views that I do. I personally don't care what religion they are, if they match my viewpoints.

Yes, I believe religion is an important part of a persons character, I would vote for any Christian or Jew regardless of their denomination. Mormons are Christa in so they pass my test.

I would rather eat my own heart out than live in a country where a mormon rules. I get enough of them at my doorstep.

Religion should not be a factor. I will vote for the most qualified person that can save this nation from ruin.

No problem. The only theological problem I'd have would be if the candidate was a Suni or Shiite Muslim or Islamofacist. No way, man!

As long as they don't plan on pushing morminism on the entire country. There is supposed to be a seperation of church and state.

Yes. My choice would depend on the issues. Religion is not an issue.
