masterbation is healthy for a young girl, i dont believe they are related, but you might want to talk to her about sexual intercourse very soon.

It's nothing to be concerned about and is not related to her period. This is a natural thing. It usually happens much younger and then they drop it for years. Some children don't even remember doing it. Some do it unconsciously. My 10 year old niece used to watch TV and masturbate. this was embarrassing because she was not aware and it didn't matter who was in the house.
Don't bug her about it, it's normal.

Related? I wouldn't see how? Periods are just letting you know that your productive system is up and at em. Finding those spots that make you tingly, or give you a whole new sensation that you have never felt before is different. My 3 year old doesn't masturbate....... but she inspects herself sometimes in the bath ..... now trying to explain that she needs to do that in private is interesting to explain to a 3 year old....

I don't think so. Is she sexually active? Maybe she experimented and found that she likes it. I don't know why a 15 yr old would masturbate I didn't know how to when I when I was that age I guess. I would have a sex talk with her to find out what is going on. She is at that age.

15 isnt the oldest, for not having a period but get her to her gyn and have her checked out. as for masterbating, thats a personal issue. better than being around a bf having unprotected underage sex. the two are not related

There could be a number of reasons why she doesn't have her period... is she active in sports, running, or anything like that? Masturbation is pretty typical in the young teen community though. Its exploration, they are learning their body, or they've learned it, and just enjoy what they've learned. I wouldn't let it worry you.

no..they are not related. you need to keep your composure. I remember when my son's started. YOu need to realize that this is really normal behavior for the age. Stay out of her way and be there for her when she asks questions. Be open and honest..no matter how embarrassing!!
