Because that's where it first showed up.

It is transmitted best through open wounds and when you commit and unnatural act, like a sexual act that involves sticking something in where only things are supposed to come out it creates friction and open wounds on the skin, it creates an environment that is more susceptible to transmitting the disease.

THe reason hiv is so prevalent in the gay community is because the easiest way to contract the hiv virus is through the exchange of bodily fluids..most frequently blood to blood, semen to blood..the tissue in the rectum is far thinner and more apt to tear than vaginal tissue..since gay men have anal intercourse, this is where the disease showed up first. (not that we heteros don't have anal sex..it's just not as predominant)

Shame on you! You should know better than to permeate such stereotypes.

Actually the fastest growing group of people acquiring aids are heterosexual kids between the ages of 15 and 24 due to indisciriminate sexual practices.

Next are women in Africa whose husbands refuse to wear condoms or practice safe sex.

I don't know why you talk about it unless you are worried about getting it. I would be on my knees praying for God to give me the strength to stop the lifestlye I had first! Then I wouldn't have to worry so much about stds or aids. You say you are born that way, Did you ever think that your homosexuality is your cross to bear and that you are suppose to overcome that sin just as an alcoholic or molester should?Best wishes.
