I am planning on buying a one of the remaining Sidekick IIs from WirelessBuy. Anyhow you need to buy a voice plan also, so if i buy it then go to T-Mobile and just change it to a data plan only how much will it cost and can i do that?

Yes you can, just put it on the cheap voice plan which is 29.99 a month for 300 minutes with free weekends. Leave there and go straight to a tmobile store and have them switch you to the data only plan for the same price which will give you unlimited internet, email and texting. you are only signing a contract to keep the service, not the plan. Thus you can change your plan at any time.

in case you unencumber it, you'll be able of apply the sidekick 2 with cingular to make phonecalls and for textual content messages. yet, you WONT be able of apply the more beneficial houses. only the phone/textual content messages. You wont be able of get admission to the catalog, objective, e mail. That area of the documents is for sale solely with Tmobile purely.
