I once talked to an English lady who didn't know what they were, so I sent her some. Then recently, I watched a movie where the character was English (really an American playing an English girl) commented on how she enjoyed her oreos. Is this a gross oversight on the filmmaker's side?

yes we have them but they aren't really that popular and aren't in every shop like they are in the states. They're in my local shop because I live in London but when I go home to Kent cant find them anywhere!

Also the Oreos cereal is like £5 here (think thats about $7 or $8) and they only sell it in Selfridges can you imagine!! (Huge department store similar to Bloomingdales)
