i changed the password this morning, and i can't get into the account with either the old or the new password. I need help, their are some files on the users that i really need so i can't make a new account and forget these... and i can't remember the year i set it for the information, and the question won't do anything cuz i didn't reset it after changing the password... please help!!!!

Uhh okay, i'll explain it once more, i can't make another account and delete these others because i have files i want to keep in both. and i'm on my friends account not my own. Also i can't remember a lot of the information that i signed in onto, so i can't just answer the questions and all...

You log in to yahoo answers with the same password as your yahoo email is so if you logged into answers to ask this question, then just go to mail.yahoo.com and you should already be logged in to yahoo mail if you are logged into answers the email and answers password is usually the same so for yahoo just use the same password that you used to log into answers. As far as hot mail, the only thing I can suggest, is to find a hacker who is willing to hack into your account for you and change your password for you. the same with yahoo if you are using a friends account or something. It is not hard to hack a e mail account if you have the right tools and brains.

You can get a new password, a Yahoo! ID reminder, or both. Link is below.
Visit the Sign-in Problems page and supply some basic verification information, such as your birthday and the ZIP or postal code you provided when you registered.
Make sure to provide the same information you gave during registration or when you last updated your account. Without the correct verification information, you will not be able to obtain a new password.

Go to yahoo help page and send customer service and email telling them your problem, or click on the "forgot password" and see if that helps....but 1st set up a new mail address that you will remember easily that yahoo can send the information to.

Usually if you forgot your password, you can click on the "Forgot password" link and then answer some questions to verify you and they will give you a temporary password. Then you change it afterward.
