You should always read the info sheet that comes with the medication. But with Seasonique you will have 4 periods a year. One every 3 months.

Some women have break through bleeding at any time during the first year on those pills. Your "period" (bleeding on the pill is not the same as a natural period) should come after the three months of active pills.

I had a friend who was on it, she started it on the first sunday after she got her period, and didnt get it again for a few months, she didnt like that though so she went on ortho tri-cyclen low
