I would like to know the price range difference in a good steak dinner since when I last lived there in 1968 to 1969. I had heard that the price of steak was ridulous about $25.00 is this true?

I'm sure it's much more now. You realize Kobe Beef is specially raised on a very paticular diet, the steers are actually messaged DAILY to distribute the fat evenly thoughout the muscle tissues to ensure the most well marbled and tender beef in the world.
$25.00 for how much? An once a couple of onces...a pound?

Don't forget they also feed them Suntory Beeru. If you have a yen for some Kobe beef you better have many.
