A true hermaphrodite. Hermes and Aphrodite are Greek God and Goddess of maleness and feminity respectively. A pseudohermaphrodite is a male with feminine qualities or a female that looks masculine.

That person would be called a hermaphrodite, although it is rare to find one who is actually fully functional. The term comes from Greek mythology, where Aphrodite and Hermes supposedly had a child out of wedlock named Hermaphroditus who was both male and female.

The new term for someone who has the sex characteristics of both sexes is intersex. Hermaphrodite isn't really considered a nice thing to call an intersex person anymore.
