I remember once coming to a place on my computer where it showed all images that had ever been clicked on. How do I erase that? Should I just throw my computer away?

In Internet Explorer, go to the Tools menu and choose Internet Options. On the General tab, click Delete Cookies, click Delete Files (check teh option for offline content as well), and finally click Clear History. This should get rid of any "questionable" Internet content on your computer.

If you really want to be sure, get a disk shredding program (that actually overwrites all the data), and re-install the operating system (backing up all files you want to keep, of course). Throwing out your computer could actually be worse for your privacy because someone else could find your hard drive and recover your old files.
