Definitely! You can still get pregant if you have protection. First off they are only 99.9%. So if there is a hole in the condom, or you forgot to take a pill, you are at risk. I am sure you can find many women out there who thought that they were protected, and they got pregant. My suggestion is to double up on protection, make sure you are taking birth control, and also have him wear a condom. If you REALLY don't want to get pregant, may I suggest no sex. Up to you, but BE CAREFUL!!!!

If the protection is a bad one.. then yes there is a possibility of you still getting pregnant. However.. it also goes by your fertility cycle. So if it's at a point where your not very fertile.. then the chances are slim but not impossible.

"YES. Why do so many kids come on here asking stupid questions about sex? No you can't get pregnant holding hands or swimming or wiping with your brother's towel. !!"
At least they are coming on here and asking instead of just hoping things will turn out alright. Mabye they are asking "stupid questions" because they don't know the answer. Instead of being an *** about it, help them out. Giving them a harsh response may keep them from asking the next time, and I'd much rather have them ask another dumb question then end up pregnant or with diseases.

Depends on when you had sex, you see women have a cycle of ovulation, menstruation (or period) and what they call the Dry period that is the time where there is potential risk of getting pregnant. Of course protection can fail, but thy have extreme low chances, but it also depends on the good or bad use of the protection. I recomend you search the Ogino-Knaus method, thats a way to know (if protection fails) to see your chances of getting pregnant.

One word YES, and if you are going to use a bad way of protection then just don't have sex. Go buy condoms(latex not animal skin) or get BC Pills.

Yes, you can still get pregnant if you use protection. The only 100% sure way to not get pregnant is to not have sex.

I know someone who got pregnant after her tubes were tied. So that goes to show that no protection is fail-proof. And shame on the people making fun of you for asking this question-how are young people supposed to learn if they don't ask? If you don't like the question-here's a clue-DON"T ANSWER IT! :)
