The Yankees don't suck because they are bad. The Yankees suck because everyone hates them. Why? Because at a $210 million payroll they are the "best team money can buy." Other cities have to struggle to bring up minor leaguers. The Yankees can trade their prospects for current stars and still turn around and bring a guy like Cano out of the minors. So, given that definition, do I think that the Yankees suck? With all my soul, yes. I am proud to have been at game 5 of the ALDS last year and to have had the opportunity to watch E-Rod hit that clutch 9th inning double play ball. Yankees suck. Now and forever.

I agree with SHARK. If the Yankees suck, then why are they in first place by 4 in a half games?????????? The Yankees are NOT the ones that suck, it's the Boston Red SUX!!!! GO YANKEES!!!!!!

Yes, but I am jealous somewhat.
They have an owner who spends ungodly amounts of money who really wants to win, unlike corporate owned team or cheap owners.
I think the Yankees get way too much press though. I'm sick of em. But its been what, 10 years since their last series win.They had better put up or shut up though.

PSHHH. The Yanks rock. They've won 26 Championships, most in any sport. They have richest history out of any team in baseball. And they contend for the playoffs every year. They prove every season that they don't suck.

No. They're the greatest franchise in all of sports. More championships than anyone (26). They currently have one of the greatest clutch hitters of all time in Derek Jeter. And they have the greatest closer ever in Mariano Rivera. They have a shot at going all the way this year.
