What is the disease called when you mistreat your children for attention?

I think it's called Munchinhousen's but my spelling is way off.

Munchhausen by proxy. It's a sad but very real disorder.People go as far as poisoning their children to make them sick just so that they can gain the sympathy of people and the attention of medical personnel

Munchausen's by proxy syndrome (if the victim/patient is their own child). Just Munchausen's syndrome otherwise.
