Anyways, I don't want to get real into it because we are not trying for out second child that seriously because I think stressing your body like that can only make it harder.

But anyways, my last period was on the 24th of July (three days after stopping the pill) and I just started my first "real" period (as in not birth control pill induced) yesterday (the 18th). Assuming my cycle is "regular" when should I ovulate?

I just want to see if we have a day off around that day or if it happens to be while we are on vacation (I hope not, I am not in possition to have sex then, LOL).

Thanks!

Well, it if is September 1st, we are safe! LOL! I am off on the 31st and we can "do it" then and we don't leave for vacation until the 4th, but it was cutting it close! LOL! My fiance is going to wonder why I am jumping him then! LOL!

We have sex anyway, just for fun! :-) What else is there to do at 10 PM, can't sleep, nothing on TV, and the baby (19 month old) is asleep! LOL!

You should ovulate 14 days after the start of your previous period IF your cycle is 28 days.

Actually, you ovulate exactly 14 days BEFORE the start of your period. So, If your cycle is 26 days, you'll ovulate 12 days AFTER your period. If your cycle is 30 days, you'll ovulate 16 days AFTER your period. Make sense?

The best time to have sex (if you DON'T want to get pregnant) with the "rhythm" method is directly after your period for just a couple of days.

if you have 28 day cycles usually and this one is regular you will ovulate on september 1st. You should be able to tell simply by the cervical mucus you are producing.. watch for it around the 1st :)

Everyone ovulates differently. The adverage is 14 days from the first day of your period. Being that you just stopped taking the pill it could be different.

Don't chart. All that will do is tell you when you missed your chance. Watch your body. Your cervical mucus (gross word, sorry!) will look like egg whites. Have sex that day. It's your best chance!!
