I was recommended this supplement to try for ADD/OCD-type symptoms, stress, and mood swings, because I refuse to go on any kind of psychoactive medication. He says he used it for 4 or 5 days and noticed a difference in his mood, concentration, and stress level right away. I am inclined to believe him, but it is kind of pricey (still nowhere NEAR as expensive as prescription meds, even with insurance) so I wondered if anyone might have experience with it, to back up his claim, before I spend the money on it. Keep in mind, if it works it would be worth any price to me.

I don't have personal experience with this but we have several customers who buy it on a regular basis and are very happy with the results.

You might ask your friend to sell you just enough of his supplement to try it out for a week and see how you react to it.

Or shop around. Now Foods makes this supplement and it's probably 20% cheaper than some more well-known brands.

Yup I've used it but not for those symptoms. It is an intellect enhancer, so I used it for help passing uni exams.
The first thing you should try are fish oil capsules. Honest. The brain is made of essential fatty acids and water with a few minerals thrown in. Cut down on omega 3's etc and you get mood swings etc.
The other supplement to take is magnesium. This again helps you stay calm etc.
good luck
