Sorry - I don't buy it.
No 89 year old would write as poorly as you! Or use "2" instead of "to" - dead giveaway.
It's your nap time now. Good night!

I see you changed your name from "dood g" to "gramps" - woo, way to cover your tracks!

Do you have nothing better to do than play on the computer?

If in fact you were 89 and you wanted to get your wife pregnant, I doubt very seriously that you would come on her to ask a bunch of strangers for permission.

Well, it is a matter of two things:

1. You needing descendants.

2. The born child needed a father while growing.

In the first point I have mentioned, it might be a beautiful thing, especially if you love the person who you will be having the child with. You might want to look a bit into the risks of down syndrome and other diseases common to children born from men your age.

In the second point I mentioned, it is very important to consider an estimate of how much longer you will be able to live and the quality of life you will be able to provide to your partner and the new child. Bear in mind that if the child does not spend enough years with you, but with another father figure, he/she might end up looking up to the new "father" as his/her actual parent, not to you. If that happens, then you might just miss your objective.
Also you have to think of financial provision for your offspring. If you are able to provide enough then it would be less of a hassle for the baby growing into an adult.

In conclusion, I must ask you to really think ahead of the possible consequences of your decision, and trust in God to help you carry out whatever you decide.

God bless you my friend. I wish I could speak more to men your age to really understand what it is like to have lived so long, your experiences and other such things. Please count me in if you ever need a pen pal.

Yea right, if you want the child to grow up without a father, it isn't a good idea you have a greater chance of passing on defect because you are too "old"

anyways, I believe the others, lier!

Go ahead... if your wife wants a child and she is not afraid of becoming a single mother should you not live to see the child reach adulthood. Make sure you set aside a trust for the child before it's born... just in case.
