if the door is 30" wide the the door frame would be 33 3/4 "
the wall opening would be 34 1/2" this allows to square the frame
if the door is 78" high the frame height will be 80" the height of the hole will be 80 1/2 " provided it has no step

Depends on what kind of door and what you are really asking.

The rough opening (how you would frame for it) for a typical prehung interior wood framed door that is listed as 30" is 32" but varies by manuf from 31.5-33.0.

If you mean what is the dimension between the jambs it is usually 1/4" more than the door.
