Plants or vegetables are definitely not like animals when used as sources for food. Vegetables are more beneficial for the human body; as they have no animal fats. They are good sources of minerals and iron and antioxidants, lecithins , lycopene and etc which are all good and even anticarcinogenic.
Animals on the other hand, even though they taste good are more harmful to your arteries and heart and blood pressure and contribute largely to the causes of many diseases. Altho' animals are good sources of protein, some plants can give you these too, like bean sprouts, bean cake or plain beans. Alfalfa and seaweed are nutritional and good to maintain good weight.
So definitely, eating animals which require hunting and raising are different than plants which have more beneficial effects on the human body.

Yep. I explained this to my 5 & 7 year old yesterday. There are instruments that can recieve the "screams" of plants when you cut into them. That is why should always treat your food with respect. Every little bit of it gives its life for yours. Whether it is a pig, a seal, a cow, a snail, or a piece of lettuce....it is alive.

I feel sorry for such people. How can somebody live happy with that mindset. Animals are more than food.
These are the people who don't respect Life.
I suggest these people to have a pet. If possible a young pet.

plants, animals and human beings are all living beings. humans cultivated the habit of eating animals as food for survival along with vegetable food.
