I hope a new generation of Muslim and Jew will try to make peace. Look at England and Ireland. There was so much violence 20 years ago. But now there's peace. It can happen. Let's work toward it.

Resolution needs sacrifices from both sides and Arabs should grant Israel a right to exist.
Yes, the bloody history has always overshadowed the peace and brought in the trend of violence and retaliation in middle east.
But somehow they have to bring an end to the hostilities by brushing aside the bitter feelings of the past and convincing the masses for a mutual agreement between both sides. Thus cracking down on the hardliners would be the next best thing to do.
Probably establishing peace would leave US with no cause of concern and there would be nothing to intervene.
As far as Arab states are concerned they have never initiated a responsible action towards peace.

this sh#t between the muslims and israelis has been going on for centuries. it can never be resolved unless the muslim radicalists realize that killing infidels is not what will allow you to be a good muslim and go to paradise, but respecting others and allowing people to LIVE is what u should be doing, and not suicide bombings, or oppressing women, and committing terrorist acts and such. the presence of the USA is the only thing not allowing this conflict to expand to a high, extreme level. we as americans must realize that radical muslims are the problem, i just saw the movie WORLD TRADE CENTER, and the horror of people jumping 60 stories to their death to escape a peril of burning to death, to the amount of rumble that killed innocent people, and ones who evacuated thinking they were safe. people from 87 countries died on that day. 2,749 died in all. only 20 people, mostly policemen and such, survived, do u realize that??? and to think the new terror plot at london heathrow would have been BIGGER, thus proving, radical muslims are the problem, and good muslims need to stand up and talk down on the radicalists giving the islamic religion a bad name (however, some may think the radicalists are being good muslims, evidence is bold faced in the qu'ran (koran)) ISRAEL IS NOT WRONG, they have taken, are taking, and will take SOOO much sh$t its ridiculous, just because they r jewish??, i dont understand, and the greatest question one could ask for our future as a world would be, "will THIS ever end?"

Ellie, you pose a good question! personally I don't think it will ever be resolved. Jewish people and Arab nations tend to be mortal enemies, hopefully I'm wrong but I don't think so.I am impressed by the way you present your questions. Sincerely Robb aka Shiney

If Israel will end their land occupancy and turn over to the Arabs what belonged to them then it could be halfway to the end. So much things are involved in this issue: conflicts over jurisdiction, religion, and power at the top. Each take a share of wrongdoings in different ways so no pointing out who makes it worse or whose doing right or wrong. The main root of this conflict needs to be identified to give a justifiable end.

Quote from Larry Miller: "A brief overview of the situation is always valuable, so as a service to all Americans who still don't get it, I now offer you the story of the Middle East in just a few paragraphs, which is all you really need. Don't thank me. I'm a giver. Here we go:

The Palestinians want their own country. There's just one thing about that: There are no Palestinians. It's a made up word. Israel was called Palestine for two thousand years. Like "Wiccan," "Palestinian" sounds ancient but is really a modern invention.

Before the Israelis won the land in war, Gaza was owned by Egypt, and there were no "Palestinians" then, and the West Bank was owned by Jordan, and there were no "Palestinians" then. As soon as the Jews took over and started growing oranges as big as basketballs, what do you know, say hello to the "Palestinians," weeping for their deep bond with their lost "land" and "nation."

So for the sake of honesty, let's not use the word "Palestinian" any more to describe these delightful folks, who dance for joy at our deaths until someone points out they're being taped. Instead, let's call them what they are: "Other Arabs Accomplish Anything In Life And Would Rather Wrap Themselves In The Seductive Melodrama Of Eternal Struggle And Death." I know that's a bit unwieldy to expect to see on CNN. How about this, then: "Adjacent Jew-Haters."

Okay, so the Adjacent Jew-Haters want their own country. Oops, just one more thing. No, they don't. They could've had their own country any time in the last thirty years, especially two years ago at Camp David. But if you have your own country, you have to have traffic lights and garbage trucks and Chambers of Commerce, and, worse, you actually have to figure out some way to make a living. That's no fun. No, they want what all the other Jew-Haters in the region want: Israel. They also want a big pile of dead Jews, of course-that's where the real fun is-but mostly they want Israel. Why?

For one thing, trying to destroy Israel — or "The Zionist Entity" as their textbooks call it — for the last fifty years has allowed the rulers of Arab countries to divert the attention of their own people away from the fact that they're the blue-ribbon most illiterate, poorest, and tribally backward on G-d's Earth, and if you've ever been around G-d's Earth, you know that's really saying something.

It makes me roll my eyes every time one of our pundits waxes poetic about the great history and culture of the Muslim Mideast. Unless I'm missing something, the Arabs haven't given anything to the world since Algebra, and, by the way, thanks a hell of a lot for that one.

Chew this around and spit it out: Five hundred million Arabs; five million Jews. Think of all the Arab countries as a football field, and Israel as a pack of matches sitting in the middle of it. And now these same folks swear that if Israel gives them half of that pack of matches, everyone will be pals. Really? Wow, what neat news. Hey, but what about the string of wars to obliterate the tiny country and the constant din of rabid blood oaths to drive every Jew into the sea? Oh, that? We were just kidding.

My friend Kevin Rooney made a gorgeous point the other day: Just reverse the numbers. Imagine five hundred million Jews and five million Arabs. I was stunned at the simple brilliance of it. Can anyone picture the Jews strapping belts of razor blades and dynamite to themselves? Of course not. Or marshalling every fiber and force at their disposal for generations to drive a tiny Arab state into the sea? Nonsense. Or dancing for joy at the murder of innocents? Impossible. Or spreading and believing horrible lies about the Arabs baking their bread with the blood of children? Disgusting. No, as you know, left to themselves in a world of peace, the worst Jews would ever do to people is debate them to death.

Mr. Bush, G-d bless him, is walking a tightrope. I understand that with vital operations coming up against Iraq and others, it's in our interest, as Americans, to try to stabilize our Arab allies as much as possible, and, after all, that can't be much harder than stabilizing a roomful of supermodels who've just had their drugs taken away. However, in any big-picture strategy, there's always a danger of losing moral weight. We've already lost some. After September 11 our president told us and the world he was going to root out all terrorists and the countries that supported them. Beautiful. Then the Israelis, after months and months of having the equivalent of an Oklahoma City every week (and then every day) start to do the same thing we did, and we tell them to show restraint.

If America were being attacked with an Oklahoma City every day, we would all very shortly be screaming for the administration to just be done with it and kill everything south of the Mediterranean and east of the Jordan. (Hey, wait a minute, that's actually not such a bad id ... uh, that is, what a horrible thought, yeah, horrible.)"

When they took Palestinian land away from Palestinians to create Israel after WW2 they lit the fuse. How would you feel? The US needs to stop supporting Israel when they commit war crimes. It's time for the USA to completely reevaluate all foreign policy.

To get a full understanding, we have to go back a long time ago when the Israelis were expelled from 109 locations and the British mandate and Balfour declaration gave Israel a part of the Palestine land that was occupied by the British forces then.

The Israeli Zionists had their own agenda to attain their "promised land" - the land between the Al Forat & the Nile Rivers - and Israel began to invade parts of Lebanon, Syria, Egypt and more parts of Palestine.

In 1967 the UN passed resolution 242 calling for Israel to withdraw form the occupied Arab territories they have invaded & occupied during these wars. Israel has yet to comply.

During this time, Israel has been conducting ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians and is continuing to do so to this day as it is now doing to Lebanon as well. Have you heard of the Israeli Sabra & Shatila massacre in Lebanon or the Deir Yassin massacre in Palestine? Please read on:

The whole issue of the current abuse over Lebanon is not the issue Israeli soldiers. Israel provoked Hezbollah by crossing the Lebanese borders to aggravate matters and have Hezbollah retaliate. Lebanon is only a stepping-stone to reach Syria and Iran after Iraq has been totally destroyed and occupied by the US. (Israel was behind the Afghanistan / Iraqi wars).

For Israel to be able to fulfill its agenda, then it has to ensure that there are no powerful Arab / Muslim armies in the region except the Israeli army, which is backed up & fully equipped with US military weapons. Israel also has its own nuclear power station and nuclear warheads.

I have many sources to support all that I have said if you care to check them out yourself.

Israel throughout history has been conducting flase flag operations against the US (in particular) to set up the Arabs and begin wars with their neighboring Arab countries to achieve their cause / agenda.

From history, Israel did conduct attacks on the US harming and murdering US citizens trying to set up Arab countries in the process so that the US may start wars with these countries – Check the sources below: USS Liberty and the Lavon affair and others:

USA's total support for Israel as well as it's arming of Israel is not helping matters, it is only creating more chaos.

This will end once Israel stops its genocide and complies with UN resolutions returning the occupied lands to their rightful owners.
