The Nation is becoming divided more and more daily, it isn't just about poor vs rich. It is about young vs old. Working class vs Welfare. Educated vs Non Educated. Immigrants vs Hell no go back to Mexico. War or no War. So many issues, so much controversy and politicking, so much division. It is about so much more. The problem is bigger than we are. All we can do is focus on making our own lives better.

Ddirefox is absolutely right. Republican control of this country, especially this administration, has made the rich so much richer and increased the number of poor in this country. This adminstration has done all it could to wipe out the middle class, along with so many other things we hold dear in this country - like our freedoms. When you look at the rest of the countries in the world, the U.S. is poor considering the trillions of dollars in debt we owe to
countries like China and Japan. The Republican congress couldn't even pass a minimum wage increase
without tacking on another huge tax break for the very
wealthy. It excluded inheritance taxes for people like the
Hiltons (who are already super-rich) The wage increase to $7.l5 an hour was going to be fazed in over a 3 year period. It did not pass. It has been 10 years since an increase in minimum wage laws in this country! The U.S.
has the lowest minimum wages of any civilized country in
the world! Enough said! Get rid of Republicans in office.
