How come every gay person you ask says they were born gay and many straight people say that you aren't.
I don't understand this logic of straight people. Who are you to speak with authority when you are not gay to begin with. So how can you state with fact that you know the answer. Are you an educated scientist or a dumb hillbilly redneck or a Christian.
I can not get sexually aroused by women. I like men. Plain and simple.

Those of you who think "negative life events" or sexual trauma cause someone to become gay- do you have ANY IDEA AT ALL how many people go through these things and their sexuality does not change one bit? Thankfully, nothing like that has ever happened to me, and I'm still a proud, happy bisexual who was BORN THAT WAY.

Yes, I do. I think that nature somehow miss giving certain babies all the necessary cells to be normal. Something happened while in the womb. Could have been medicines, certain food, alcahol, drugs, or again I think it could be Hereditary. I firmly believe these babies, were lacking something while in the stage of being a very young, fetus.

Most definately.
People are either straight, bi or gay. It is bi people who think that sexuality is a choice. A gay person can go in denial, but they will be miserable. The worst homophobe is usually a gay that is in denial. Science is proving this!

Yes I do think people can be born gay. I also think that almost every human being has hints of gay tendancies inside them... a curiosity about it, if you will. Of course, this is just my personal oppinion... and there is no valididty to it... what-so-ever.

No, people are not born gay, things happen during the growing up years that can mentally be tragic, and we internally mask ourselves. Biblically the lifestyle is wrong and spoken plainly that it will not enter into heaven, the Lord does not give the torment of what is involved in the actions of those that practice this, it is deeply and sadly a painful and mentally messed up way to be, some are in deep, some not so deep, so many things can lead a person down that path, but all have a chance to escape from it...........

People may be born with a tendency to be gay.
If that's your question, then that's my answer.
If your question is "Do you think people are born gay....so that makes it okay for them to be gay?" then my answer is still that people may be born with a tendency to be gay.
Other people are born with a tendency towards violence. Does that excuse a wife beater? (It's okay...he was born that way.)
Other people are born with a tendency for alcoholism. Does that excuse their behavior? (He can't help that he drinks so much...he was born that way.)
Being "born that way" is not an excuse. People can change their behaviors, and I agree with above posters who pointed out that often a negative life event can trigger those tendencies.

I remember being "gay" at 5, so I can't remember anything else.
All I remember is knowing men were "special" and I didn't know why I didn't like looking at other girls my age or older, ever. Guys however I thought were "pretty." Hey, I was 5. I didn't know what handsome was, lol.

It doesn't matter what you were born like, it's what you've come to accept yourself as.
Although I always was attracted to men since a little kid, so I think it's always a part of you. I think it's already in your brain when you grow up and everything.

I can't change my sexual orientation any more than I can change my skin color.
Were you born straight?
If not, when did you make a decision to be straight?
You have to know! WHEN WAS IT?
When you can honestly answer THAT question, you'll end up answering your posted one.
