I love the rain and consider myself a "rainy day person". I even go out to do shopping or other outdoor necessities during that time...no long trips though I believe that for the most part others whom you see out in the rain are rainy day'uns as well. To me it is soothing, relaxing and euphorically magical. The air is cleansed and fresher when it rains and it help keep the crooks and dirty people inside. After the rain the streets look cleaner and the city more refreshed.
There is slim chance of you experiencing this but way back when I was very young, my grandparents who lived in the country had a barn with a tin roof. The sound of rain on a tin roof is absolutely ecstatic.

I love the rain when I am in the house and listening to it. Love listening to thunder wondering how loud the next boom will be. Relaxing to fall asleep to the sound of rain. Also have enjoyed walking in the warm summer rain with friends. We were soaked but we didn't care. Love the rain when it brought a relief from the heat wave we were having. Walking in the warm rain is fun when you have no where to be but hate the rain when it's cold or raining really hard when I need to go somewhere. BTW it was raining here today. Love watching my kids splashing in the rain and playing in the puddles afterwards. Hate it when they are soaked and need to change clothes.

Rain is wonderful to get things done for you.
Read a book, watch a good movie, take a nap, open the doors and catch the cool breeze, play a game, write a poem.

I love the rain becuz I love the feeling of water on my body. It helps me sleep. Another reson why is becuz I think that it is relaxing when the thunder and lighting is going too. I love playing in the rain and getting all wet like a little child, and when the rain is over it smells so refreshing and you can look at the rainbow.

When it rains, it brings back so many memories. My very first kiss was in the pouring rain.... When I think about rain I always remember it.... I married that man and have 2 beautiful daughters. When they were little they loved to go out and play in the rain.... that is some of my favorite memories of my little girls playing and dancing in the rain.... Now they are grown and both in college.... I took my youngest to school today and guess what.... it rained on the way home.... even though she was not with us on the way home, the rain reminded me that I have so many good memories and will have them everytime it rains.

I like rain because sometimes it gets really dry outside and we really need it, but I hate being in the rain. I love to dance, but that whole dancing in the rain thing is not me.

I love a rain shower. Especially when I'm inside in front of the fire with a good book, or sitting on the verandah snuggled under a blanket. I love the way it sounds on my roof and windows, and on the leaves in the garden. I love the way it smells.... everything so fresh and clean. And I love waiting to see if a rainbow will appear when the rain has stopped.

I love the rain because the birds come alive when the rain stops. I love the rain because I drink lots of water and I need it to survive.

I live in Fort Worth, Texas and It hasn't rained in like forever here. It's been so long, I have forgotten what rain looks like! I would love to see rain and lower the 100+ temp.days.
