One of my all time faves. the "curbing" is a great scene. But When Derreck rants at the Dinner table is my fave. ed Norton is very good at that. In 25th Hour he rants like that at one point. I also like when he gets arrested in the street , the look he gives danny while hes getting handcuffed, is great...

I feel the same as you about the curb bitting scene. The movie stayed on my mind for a very long time. I don't have a favorite scene, except the part where he realizes the only man in prison that will help him or cover him is a black man (the one thing he hated the most). That is powerful. And the fact that the ones that hurt him the most were his own kind.

It's a really good movie! I don't have a favorite scene or anything, but in general I thought the movie was pretty good. And I agree the curb biting scene is really gross and intense.

I absolutely love American History X, and I agree, it's an incredibly powerful movie. I'd have to say that my favorite scene is the last, simply because of the ending. Amazing.
