My friend was in a fight a few months ago and the outcome was pretty bad on his part. He had t really bad black eyes. By now it has all gone away but the darkness has not completely faded. It looks like he has really bad dark circles under his eyes all the time. How does he get rid of it??

Black eyes are caused by the rupture of small blood vessels under the skin....Usually the black and blue will go away in 2-3 weeks, but if he had significant damage it could take a couple of months....hang in there, it should go away.!!!as long as they are not re-injured....tell him to stay out of fights!

my sister recently got hit by a baseball right above her eye, it was swollen for about two days and black for a couple of weeks, you cant really do anything to help make it go away, just ice it right after the fight, but its a little too late for that now, either wait or put make-up over it, dont think he would like it but it wouldnt show up as much!

I'd be interested to know....I have a real shiner of a black eye myself and have had for the best part of a fortnight. Although it's been every colour in the rainbow in that time.

Like any other injury take one day at a time it will go away he prbably broke some blood veddels it will clear up though no need to be alarmed its very normal>

wait it out i guess, like brusies n all, if it was really deep then it take longer than a lighter bruise to go completely away...but im sure it will go away someday...dont really see too many people walkin aroung w/ black eyes from there teenage years lol

ice will help the swelling. some natural remedies are tea bags(wet), and cucumber. that will help reduce the swelling, and draw out some of the blood. (that is what a bruise is) good luck.if it is not getting any better after that, i would tell my friend to see a doctor..

if u put "manteca de ubre" (spanish for cow manure) on it , it will go down.trust me it works cuz i got in a cat fite once and i got a black eye(its weird how we ended up making out wit each other)
