Yes. He was a good & knowledgeable player who helped out other less experienced players with his advice & expertise. He would be a good coach. Of course, he wouldn't start out as a head coach in the NFL without first getting some coaching experience as perhaps a running backs coach, coach of the offense, etc.

But to answer your question, Bettis would probably make a great coach cause he knows the game, but I don't think he would want to. I think he just wants to chill out at least for a while.

No. I am sure he was a great player and knows the game pretty well, but the NFL is no place for a "rookie" coach. He should have to earn his way into the NFL like all the other coaches.

I can't see him as a head coach, he seems too nice. I don't think he knows the game well enough to be an offensive coordinator, but I could certainly see him as a good position coach.

I don't think so. Not everyone is cut out to be a coach. There are those that teach and then there are those that do. He was a do-er.
