If it looks more like scrap marks. It might be due to stress. Do you find you scratch more when you seem nervous? If so the scratching yes will end up looking like this.

That is called the "flare" reaction, and is a med school demonstration of the histamine reaction to even the mildest trauma. You are normal.

You haven't come in contact with any poison ivy, have you? If so, get IVAREST and it'll knock it out in no time with no pain.
