Put ice on the swelling, for 5 minutes every half hour, for 2 days straight (it'll hurt when the ice freezes the lip after a few seconds, but keep it there and the pain will go away). The swelling should go down a lot.
If the lip is cut, see a doctor. The scar tissue tends to swell, and this requires medication to reduce the swelling.

As a doctor y recomend to put some ice for the swelling, and afterwards, if its broken, neosporin on the outside...but tons of ice.
