Scherazade(sp?) was a magical story teller from Arabian Nights. Also a piece of music written by Rimsky Korsikav(sp) that's probably as seductive as classical can get!

I'm not sure about the spelling either.

Scher (for lack of better spelling) was the narrator of the "Arabian Nights" stories. IDK if she was real, or a made-up character for the entire story.

As the story goes: the Sultan wanted to marry again, but had been betrayed by his former queen, who had broken his heart and left him for his brother, who was trying to steal his throne. The Sultan's intent was to spend 1 night of bliss with his new bride, and then have her killed, so SHE couldn't betray him as well. Scher started telling her new husband stories every night, ending each night with a cliffhanger, so he would let her live another night (to hear the rest of the story). Each old story dovetailed into a new adventure, so the cycle never ended.

Scher kept this up for about 3 years, about 1,000 Arabian Nights, until her husband, the Sultan, gave up on wanting to kill her. They eventually lived "happily ever after".

The end.

I dont think she was a goddess, literaly, but she was a very smart girl, Her keeper enjoyed the stories she would tell, and she knew he would treat her well, as long as she kept him entertained, so she told him 1000 tales of the arabian knights, which many of have been passed down and are told to this day, I cant remember what became of her tho...I think her master finaly freed her, if im not mistaken. you know I think that would make a good movie, its probably been made as, like, a silent film or something, but I think we are ready for a new version,.

King Shahzaman was going off to visit his brother King Shahryar. He went back to his palace because he forgot something and found his wife making squeeky bed with a "black" slave, and killed them and went off to visit his brother anyway, but did not go hunting with him. While he was at his brother's palace alone he spied Shahryar's wife making the humpty hump with a bunch of "******" and other peeps, so he felt his life was less of a travesty. After the hunting trip Shahryar saw his brother felt better, and when asked why he revealed the details of his own and his brother's life's crapitude. Upon seeing proof, Shahryar goes insane and wanders around in the wilderness with his brother where he learns how horny women are from the slave girl of a Jinni (Genie). Then they probably do it with slave girl and go back to Shahryar's place where he tells all the orgy peeps to take a dirt nap and spots them the pillows. Then Shahryar has sex with a new virgin every night and has her killed the next day until their are no virgin's left except for the vizier's (wazir's) daughter Shahrazad (Scheherazade) and her sister Dunyazad. The king does the humpty dumpty with Shahrazad whom afterwards calls for her sister, whom she has instructed to ask Shahrazad for a story to pass the time. Shahrazad has 1001 nights worth of **** kicking stories that don't end before the night is over thus preserving her life for the next day. In the end, 50 gazillion pages later, Shahrazad marries Shahryar and Dunyazad marries the other guy.

Scheherazade (and that may also be misspelled) is a fictional character created as the linking character to bring a number of short stories and myths together. Problem is, I can't remember who wrote 1001 Arabian Nights. It is a good read considering how old it is.

No - she was the heroine in Arabian Nights. It was a story about a prince who married young girls, slept with them for one night, and then had them killed. She was too clever for that and told a continuing series of stories so that if she was killed the prince would never know the endings.

You spelled it right

According to Persian legend, Scheherazade was the woman who told the stories that we refer to as the "Arabian Nights". Look her up in Wickipedia...I'm sure she'll be in there.
