If your Dads keep a grocery list, write down Tampons and Pads on it. It's discreet and they'll get the point.

They're probably expecting this mode of questioning and have probably prepared for it.

Dad's, um can I have some money to by some hygiene products. I recently became a woman. Its best to be totally direct otherwise they will start asking quesitons because they dont know what your getting at. Tips///never douche, start using feminie wash like summers eve to prevent dryness down there when your 40. Change your pad every time you go pee to prevent urinary track infections. Wear a night time pad at night so you dont get it on your sheets. ON the tampons, playtex with plastic is the best. Dont even think about getting the cardboard applicators or the ones without any. I think a guy invented those. I would just use those when your swimming. Dont sleep in them to prevent toxoplasmosis. Tell them you need to schedule a doctors appointment when your no latter than 15. Oh, and I hope this isnt considered racist, but no boys!25% of hispanics have their first child under 20, wheras the whites first are 28. The older you are the more likely youll go to college. 25% of hispanic men have genital herpes. There is no cure and if it goes to your baby during birth there is a 65% of death or mental retardation. Save your energy for studying.

Just ask-I'm very sure hat they are aware that you'll have a period and since they are your parents-don't feel embarrassed at least not so much that you won't tell them. Men buy that stuff all the time-its not that big of a deal anymore. You're so lucky that they chose you to be their daughter and glad you have a good and loving relationship which should overcome this too. Usually its thinking of doing that's harder than the actual doing and you'll probably be surprised how easy it will be when you tell them or one of them and then he'll tell the other. Be brave.

Your era is a organic component of your existence. attempt to be count of certainty approximately it; this is a few thing it is going to ensue to you each and each month for the subsequent 30 or 40 years. Your dad knows this, and he's your discern. have confidence him. you may get tampons/pads from any food market. next time your dad is going procuring for groceries, bypass with him, and in basic terms placed what you % into the cart. Or if he is going to the save at a time once you may no longer bypass (for the period of faculty hours), start up a grocery record for him and upload "tampons" or in spite of you utilize, with the kind you like.

If you have a great relationship with them it shouldn't be hard. Just because they are male doesn't mean they haven't heard about this subject. Since you do have a good relationship just TALK TO THEM, thats the best thing to do. They might just surprise you by their reaction. Their little girl is growing up. JUst go and talk openly to them. I'm sure they would want you to.

If you really don't want to ask, write a little note and put it somewhere they're going to find it. I'm sure they will understand that you find it hard to discuss and will get you some stuff discreetly. If you can't say it, write it down.

Or like another response said, tell them you need an allowance for feminine necessities. That would work fine too.

Straight up...they are not stupid....I'm surprised they haven't talked to you about it. "Dad, I need some help about my periods which just started..who do I ask for answers to questions and stuff?" That was easy, wasn't it? I am a Dad, would have no problem with the question what so ever. Good luck

Just talk to them, and tell them what you need. I'm sure they understand it's a fact of life for young women. They're actually probably already expecting it, and are probably well prepared to help you. I know that you're probably embaressed, but there is no need to be; everyone young woman encounters these types of situations. You're going to get tired of always borrowing your personal items, so just talk to your dads. They love you, and will almost certainly understand.

Start with something goofy like, Dad(s) I have to girl stuff I need to talk with you about.
Either they'll catch on quick, considering your age, or they'll panic and ask if you want to talk with one of your aunts or adult female friends. Either way, you'll handle it fine.

It's really pretty normal stuff. Str8 dads have to shop for them for their wives all the time. All you're asking for is some cash and a ride to the CVS.

P.S. They're gay, not stupid!

Just tell them that you've hit that age. I'm sure they'll be able to come up with some solution, whether it be to have you talk to the nice neighbor lady or something. Just be straightforward and honest. It's something natural that most girls your age go through, and something they've probably expected since they adopted you.
