theres many diff genre. hw do u differentiate each one?

eg. jazz, techno, techno jazz, rock, punk rock, metal, heavy metal, a capella, classic rock....

can some one explain to me?

classic rock, metal,heavy metal, and rock are the best. the rest are gay.

its classified by the music they play and wat kind of music its considered and who the song is by
