My mom won't approve of me having piercings.
I really want snake bites.
Like all my friends.
But, she doesn't like the idea of it.
I have a fake lip ring, and she doesn't even
like that.
And you can tell it's fake anyways.
So.
I don't know if I should go out to the mall or wherever and get it
pierced, or just stay myself with a boring face.
My mother doesn't approve of my black nail polish
or eyeliner, either.
I don't know what's up.
But I need some advice.
Should I get my snake bites, or not?

Well, first of all... if you still live at home... do you have a job? Do you help out with any of the bills? I, like you, used to have to worry about what my mom approved of and did not.. I don't have my lip pierced... but I have some other things. I am a grown woman and I did all of it after I left home because my parents rules were until I turned 18 and moved out, it was their house. Which is true but still pissed me off. My mom doesn't approve of what I have now, but oh well I am not even living in the same state as her. My advice to you is to talk to her about it. Don't do it to spite her. If you're paying for it and you're old enough to get it, then I don't see why you shouldn't. Just make sure it's something you really want. Not just want because she doesn't. Hope this helps some???

No. Why do you want to wreck your looks with piercings? Don't you realize how bad that looks? You know when you go to look for a job, you will have a difficult time being hired because most employers don't go for that. Have respect for your body, you won't regret it. All of this stuff is a fad and will be gone and you don't want to be left looking like a freak, do you?

Your mother has your best intentions in mind. Piercings and tatoos can effect your job, or even just the job application process. I have no piercings or tatoos because I think they are somewhat useless. Small, inconspicous tatoos are okay, as are piercings for just you and your loved one to see, but unfortunetly, our society will judge you to an extent with a piercing.

Your mom is trying to do what's best for you.
When you're 80, what are you going to do with those snake bites?
That skin will be hanging off of you, jiggling.
You might get addicted to piercings, too. More jiggling skin with holes.
They're just holes in your skin. That's it.
Don't get them, respect your mom.
Seriously, she's your mom. She wouldn't be saying no for nothing, no matter how much she pisses you off.

Depends on your age. If you're 13 then no way. If you're 18 then your mom should let you do what you want.

well it really depends on how old you are
if you are 18+ your mom cant stop you
my mom doesnt like it when i wear black eyeliner and nailpolish eitherif you are under 18
its really up to you, if you want them, get them but your mom will probably be mad and you might get in trouble
