What is the range of age to play to M for Mature games?

Although it is not illegal to play an M-rated game, regardless of your age(unless Hilary Clinton gets her way with it). You are not allowed to buy the game unless you are 17 or older. If you are younger, you must be accompanied with an adult to buy it.

I think it's 16 or 18 plus - so basically a bunch of 10 year olds are playing it.

its 17+ i know i read all the lables and A=adult is 18+ but i havent seen any of thoses games

it's 17+ it doesn't matter if its rated that for violence or suggestive themes it's still supposed to be 17 to buy them.businesses are supposed to be getting in more trouble now for selling to minors,but i don't know how much trouble.
