No!
As a scientist myslef i have to tell you that we are now facing a problem when dealing with the terminology... What exactly defines a planet. The 2003 UB313 was to be called the 10th planet but arguements are leading to calling it just A KBO ( kuiper belt object)
Sedna is really said to be the 10th planet of our solar system.. This redish planet takes about 10,500 to orbit the Sun and it's orbit is highly eliptical
Many other planetoids have been discovered in the Kuiper Belt

There used to be nine:
Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter,Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto
You can remember those easily by remembering this:
My very educated mother just served us nine pizza-pies.
each initial stands for the initials of the planets: m v e m j s u n p
There was a conference in Prag (Czech republic) last week and there is a dispute now if big asteroids like Ceres and others should be considered planets, as they circle around the sun in orbits just like planets.
It is not defined yet. So for this moment we have 9 planets in our solar system.

There are nine known and confirmed planets.
There is a "Planet X" outside of Pluto, but I don't remember if it was made official or not.

In this solar system, astronomers agree on nine planets today.
In the universe - make up a number, any number, as long as it's big.

If you are refering to our solar system, there are 9 now, although it could become 11 or 12 soon. If you are talking about the universe, there are probably billions.
