Players get money for each episode they are in. I am unsure what amount is but I once read it was something like $2500.00 per show for Survivor. Since BB is much smaller payout you might cut that number in half or more but still yes they get paid

Of course they get money.

They have to be paid acting scale for each day on television especially if they speak.

It is the same as if they are on anyother game show. What do you think those parting gifts represent? They give you money for losing on wheel of fortune. You get money if you go on Oprah or the tonight show.

I don't know why anyone would think otherwise.

The longer you stay, the more you win, but the big money is there only if you win. You are looking a $2250 a week, $750 a day(televised), basically about $27,000 a season if you make it to the end, plus prizes all of which is taxable. The food and things consumed or used in the house are not taxable as they are required by the job.

If you're talking about BB All Stars, they all get paid. It's 4k for each week they're in the house, and 5k a week for each week they're in sequester and then, of course, the top 2 get the prize money. I know the winner gets 500k but not sure what 2nd place gets....50k, maybe?
