some of them are but many are better, because its a club they belong to and they will see the same workers and other customers lots of time, so many of them act nicer

You are going to find all types of people, no matter where you work, or what type of job you work. It takes all kinds, it just takes patience on your part to put up with whatever you can "put up" with. I'm not saying that some places are better or worse, you have to decide what is good and comfortable for you to work in. When you find it, you'll know. But, if you're not happy....move on. It's not worth not being happy, no matter how much money is there. Despite other peoples opinions, money does not make the world go 'round. (By the way, the lowest paying job I ever had, I was happiest...figure that? lol)

As a bartender/waitress currently working in one, I can tell you first-hand that it is no picnic. Working for the public is one thing, but you will be working for 'members.' And they will frequently throw it in your face. They tend to be very fussy, and getting a good tip from most of them is a hassle. All in all, I say it's not worth it. After two years of it, I'm looking for another job.

As a person who worked in one or 3, I can say that you'll find all kinds. Yes, you'll laugh at how pompous some of these jagoffs can be, but some are really down to earth, real mensches. Go for it, dude, wtf,....
