Depends on your price range. Depends on the time of year. Depends on what you want to do during your holiday. Some people wanna lay around the pool all day, some people like doing water sports all day. You have to be more specific to what you want to do in order to determine what kind of place is the best for you!

.....and yes you can drink the water, but its safer and better tasting to drink the bottled water. AND YES it's worth going to. Cabo is one of the safer, cleaner and friendlier tourist towns in Mexico.

I went there in April. It was absolutely gorgeous and well worth a visit. But I can't help you out with hotels, I stayed on a cruise ship.

As for the water--no, don't drink it. That's not an insult to any Mexicans, but their water filtration system is much different than what we're used to in the States and it's possible your body will reject it. Same goes for ice cubes, don't forget. Stick to bottled water/soda/beer.

Yep -- Cabo is fun, and you are going at a great time. I drank the water at my resort and didn't have any trouble. I wouldn''t drink the water everywhere though. It's not that it is so bad or anything, it's just that your body isn't used to it.
