i used to hold grudges really bad, but i realized that in the end, im hurting more than they are, and it stresses you out even more if you hold a grudge than if you just get mad for a minute and thenlet it go. life is too short to hold grudges, plus every minute you waste being mad is a minute you lost to be happy.

There is *NO WAY* I would hold a grudge.
To echo many of the people that have already answered, life is just too short. But, more importantly, God is judging our every action, motive, thought, feeling, etc. and there is a price to pay for holding grudges.
While the bible has ALOT to say about grudges, strife, hate, forgiveness, etc, here are just a few to set the stage:
James 5:9 (King James Version)
Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.
Matthew 5:23 (The Message)
"This is how I want you to conduct yourself in these matters. If you enter your place of worship and, about to make an offering, you suddenly remember a grudge a friend has against you, abandon your offering, leave immediately, go to this friend and make things right. Then and only then, come back and work things out with God.
Isaiah 24:5-6 (New International Version)
5 The earth is defiled by its people;
they have disobeyed the laws,
violated the statutes
and broken the everlasting covenant.
6 Therefore a curse consumes the earth;
its people must bear their guilt.
Therefore earth's inhabitants are burned up,
and very few are left.
The first verse above clearly teaches us that holding a grudge causes yourself to be judged. The second scripture tells us that if we're holding a grudge, that we have to go make it right before we can go to God to make things right with Him. And the last verses shows us that by people doing what they want anyway, disobeying God's laws (and in this case, continuing to hold grudges), that we've broken our covenant with God and a curse will consume us.
Just so not worth it. Wouldn't you agree?
***Remember, folks, before you try to bombard me with feedback....the question was posed as "Do you believe...." and these are my beliefs. You can choose to not agree with me, but I'm not the one posting the question, so it really doesn't matter. :)

I generally don't hold grudges, but there are a couple of people (literally two people) who I will never forgive for what they did to me. It's okay, though -- it's not like I think about them every day or even see them. I just chose to ignore that they even exist. I never hold grudges against my family or true friends, either.

I am not sure if it is a question of weather or not you "believe in" holding a grudge, but sometimes it just works out that way. I would consider myself one who doesn't, but I am sure that if I were caught in a situation where a family member, or best friend was having a fling with my girlfriend or wife, then hey, a grudge would be tough to avoid...

Life is too short to hold grudges. Either make up with the person ( regardless of whose at fault ) , and continue the friendship, or just remove yourself from the relationship completely. But don't waste time being mad at someone.

Never hold a grudge. Life is too short. Forgive for your own sake. Holding a grudge takes too much negative energy and will stress you and hurt only you.

I must admit, I'm bad about holding grudges. I get my feelings hurt and that turns into a grudge. I tend to hold it until the person apologizes or until I get up the courage to admit I'm wrong, which usually takes anywhere from a week or so to, oh, 4.5 years now. :-)

I used to hold grudges against people, until i started reading the bible, now i just turn them over to the Lord and let him deal with them.
And for how long...a pretty long long long time.

What I have learned is that by holding a grudge is allowing somebody else to control me and to rent space in my head so today, I just pray for that person.

No I don't hold grudges, I believe it hurts me more than them if I did. I just learn my lessons and don't go back a second time to get burned.
