I'm trying to write a funny announcement to friends and family that I'm pregnant. Will send it out by email to the ones we don't see or talk to every day. We've been together 15 years and no one thought we would ever have kids...Any ideas?

That is exactly what happened to us. But I guess my funny announcement was waiting almost 7 months to tell anyone!! LOL She was born 02-06. But we received one a couple years ago that just was a picture of a baby crawling across sand making tracks and that was it. And when they had their second child we got a picture of the son wearing a shirt that read "I am the big brother". They have some cute ones on pregnancyannouncements.com and I am sure there are some other sites with good ones too! Congrats!

What about sending everyone an email with a link, like you are sending everyone a joke. And in that link have either a creative announcement, or there are sites that can create a "fake" article from the newspaper. Do almost all your friends have kids. How about asking a baby question all of a sudden.

We put a note in a baby frame which simply read: "Coming Soon August 2000"
They were so excited and laughed at how cute it was!
