At school, at home, everywhere. I'm 13 yr old male, and I have a pretty thick Southern accent. And I enjoy it if I can. It doesn't matter 'cause I'm in Georgia, one of the most redneck states. One friend of mine has an accent too, but we don't see each other much. It's like I don't belong. I try to talk to people, but I always just end up not talking and keeping to myself because they either: (a) don't care about me and don't want to listen, (b) have a completely different personality and thus, not talkable to, or (c) they just don't understand me. I'm different: I'm a redneck, I make things out of duct tape, I like drag racing, I hunt and fish and obssesed with those, but yet for some reason I don't fit in. Maybe it's because although being a redneck, I am the smartest kid in the classes and have never gotten lower than an A on my report card. I also won my county spelling bee last year. I'm really depressed. Can anyone help? Thanks, I guess.
