Any follower of the Quaker religion that I have met deserves the title of 'Living Saint'. I have never met such kind, non-judgemental people. They put other 'Christians' to shame.

Nelson Mandela. Having spent 28 years in prison most people would at the very least be bitter and twisted he, on the other hand came out and promoted reconciliation and peace. Even since retiring from politics he is still very much involved in charity work internationally.

I don't think it's truly possible to be a saint as it removes all our inate humaness, but I'd admire someone who overcomes horrific adversity. Terry Waite was blindfolded, beaten, in solitary confinement and chained to a wall for 5 years, yet he still has compassion for his fellow humans. An incredible man.
