i mean, not mentioning any cultures or anything-- but it sure seems like only certain types of people hi-jack planes - we dont we have separate flights for all non whites-- sounds good to me

um hello and there have been more reports of these lunatics trying to smuggle bombs on planes-- WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO STOP THEM!??? just reading the comments-- no wonder they chose to attack the US. you people are all stupid!!!

I don't believe separating flights for all non whites is the answer to this problem, because this is basically discrimination and not all Muslims or non whites or even whites for that matter, are terrorists. Anyone can be one regardless of color, sex, culture, religion, age, you name it, it can even be someone in your own family. You are really never secure since there was a recent arrest in Miami, Florida if you can remember (see www.fbi.gov website and read up on it) which were home grown terrorists which is what we are also starting to see.

What we should be doing as travelers is this:

While the U.S. tries to improve the fragmented intelligence capabilities as we fly, we as Americans need to remember to keep our ears and eyes open at all times and if we see something that is not right thorugh our profiling of a potential suspect we need to speak up, because terrorists do make mistakes and its people like you and I that can help catch them.

We do not need to be selective we just need to keep our eyes and ears open at all times and be more alert, that is all it takes.

Well, I've travelled many times and everything went smooth so far. However, there are times when I really thought about such mishap and was bit intimidated at the same time but touch wood nothing has gone wrong so far. I think I've been quite lucky this way. It's all about your Luck. So, just make sure you are not flying on your unlucky days.

However, I would welcome leaving out middle eastern men.

I don't dislike middle eastern men but until this all blows over, it's a bit silly to turn your head the other way and pretend that there isn't a problem.

I bet we wouldn't be able to blend in to their society and blow them up and just have them turn their heads and be all welcoming to us. Even rats stay away from stuff that hurts other RATS. We can control how we act but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't be on guard. Even the government tells us that.

I would like that too. I'm a Pakistani-American (born and raised here) but I am Christian. I wish there were some other kind of term I could tell people when they ask where I'm from that would denote that I'm Christian. I SO do not want to be lumped together with those crazy ba$tards! Like Chaldeans are Christian Iraqis - they have a term to differentiate them - I wish I did too...
