Everyone dreams, even babies. What about? We may never know. I don't think I even get to that R.E.M. sleep in order to dream. R.E.M. sleep, rapid eye movement, is that deep sleep so many of us never get with our 4-6 hours sleep, but babies definitely do! This was a good question-nothing dumb about it. Sweet dreams!

I think they do. My lil sister sometimes starts crying when she sleeps, and that's because she had a bad dream. If its really awful, someone has to carry her around until she calms down. I don't know if they know that dreams are dreams and not reality, so if they get really scary, it can really scare them. Yea, I'm pretty sure babies have dreams.

yes when they are babies they dream all the time. My son is 3 months and I just watch him sometime and he smiles and makes these cute faces. But sometimes he wakes up screaming which I take it as a bad dream....

Definitely! I've always wondered what my babies are dreaming though.. they make the same little movements (and sounds) as puppies dreaming!

yes, they do. It could be about being born again, or it could be about losing their bottle or pacifier. My son still sometimes cries in his sleep, but the doctor said it was ok, because babies do dream too.

Yup. Some babies kind of sob in their sleep (most likely because they are dreaming of being born again).

Yes, they do. As far as we know, they most likely have dreams even before they are born, while they are still in the womb.
