my girls and i have always wondered this. can anyone answer it?

We talk about video games like they're real life.
We talk about how fast our cars are.
We constantly talk about how much tougher our lives are than the other guy's life so we'll feel manly and hard-core.
And we talk about sexy babes who are out of our league as if they're in our league so we'll feel sexy and hard-core.
That's about it, unless we're really close. Then we get into philosophical debates, getting really close to the edge of being emotional, but still constantly sidestepping the "emotion" aspects.
Guys like to solve problems, so, as much as it pains us to talk about problems we have, we can count on other guys to pass out solutions for free. Then we can figure out better methods of helping ourselves and brag about it when we're cool and the other guys got problems.

Edit: Some guys talk a lot about finances, but those are boring kinds of guys. They're hard to listen to. They also talk a lot about sports to boost their masculinity. But, and here's a tip for you, any guy over 40 who talks lots about "playing" sports is lost in the past.
Any guy over 20 who talks excessively about video games is also a little lost in the past.

Anything. Most of the time my friends and I are talking about anything that may be going on at the time. Jokes, sports, girls, beer pong, monetary problems like how are we going to pay for the next semester. It is really random with my friends.

I think it all depend on their age and respected they have for women. My man does talk about sex but mostly when I am around. They talk about sports what piss them off when guys get to getter they can blow off steam and not worry about hurting the female in their lifes, they talk about guns cars dranking, and sex. This is what i have learned.

Usually boring stuff like cars/bikes, work, money, and of course, sex which then means, us! But interspersed with loads of swearing to cover up any actual emotional feeling that may accidentally surface!
