If I was getting points by the hit, I would be getting more points on this question than any others I have posted. You really don't think we should expect more of people? Break ups hurt before they happen. If you want to chat it up, go to chat or a two way message group. But, most of you are right, except the one that says research proves the opposite for genetic deterioration. Life in the biosphere, generally, is showing transgenetic transformation, mostly in sea life and shallow waters...mercury, butl-tin (ship paint) and of course Biki beach....Keep them answers coming.

Break down of Joint families, then families and single parent families has taken its toll in the education of a person. Now the tolerance level has hit the nadir. Ethics have gone for a toss. ... Please try yogic practices for all controls.

I actually don't find too many of the questions stupid. For example, the breaking up question may be important for the person who is bearing it for the first time. Some people actually believe in mind control. And, it sounds like you yourself are turning into a grump or frump- better ask a question on how to get out of it.

The examples you gave are not stupid as far as the people who are asking are concerned.
There are a lot of young people who do not want to discuss their problems or ask questions openly with their family or friends.
Public education provides counselling, but whether this is the answer, I really don't know.
Genetic deterioration is not a viable point, as research shows quite the opposite.
Show patience, tolerance and empathy for these people who have their burning questions and get on with providing quality questions yourself.

Heider has said that Americans are "cognitive misers", meaning that they think as little as possible. Couple that with the fact that environmental influences can alter genetics and there you have it. The scary thing is, these people will be or are able to vote.

Both. Our air is more polluted, the media compells kids to eat unhealthy food, and being unimaginative is considered cool. We glorifiy idiot actors and thieving legislators.
We also expect less of our kids, along with cutting education funds and spending money on tax cuts and wars.

I think it's more age related. The things that seem like a crisis or extremely interesting and important when you are fourteen are suddenly insignificant when you are 30. But, hey, we all have to go through it.

I think there is a higher concentration of low-IQ individuals using Y! Answers. At least, I hope that's the case. Otherwise, we should really hope for a nuclear holocaust to put us all out of our misery.

I think too many children are on here and it leads to the parents stupidity for allowing the computer to be a babysitter and allowing their children to come to yahoo for answers that parents should be answering.
