They cause them to stampede, and the buffalo ran over cliffs and fell to their death. Didn't you see that made-for-TV series? It was awesome!!

They only killed the buffalo for this own survival. They used the furs to keep warm, they ate the meat, they used every part of the buffalo. They used their bow and arrows. I don't know why you think they did not have horses.

Horses were interduced to the Native by the Spanish, when they invaded the Atez and Inca. Before that, Natives would build a corral, and chase the bison into it, and shot them with bow and arrow. and if they had a cliff nearby, they would chase them off it. in fact i live very near a such cliff, and we have found bison skulls underneath.

Because they learned to adapt. They became great hunters by using technique, (later called gorilla warfare, and the military uses this technique-sneaking up on your enemy or "food" and killing it). They were also extremely fast, tough, and hard workers. They had to be this way to survive. That is the reason why people wanted me to be on track and Cross Country in high school.
