The better shoes you can afford to buy, the more comfortable you'll be at work. Buy them a half size larger so you can put the soft insoles in them. Trust me it will work and you'll be much happier there.

Hi,
To reduce the leg pain, once you get back home after work, put your legs including knee in hot(a little less than as much hot-warm you can stand) wate for 10-15 minutes.

Then as for your career. I dont know how young you are. If you are interested or have money/time, look for a career change. Get into computer programming jobs. I do this and am so bored of sitting in front of the monitor for 10-12 hrs a day. I feel like there should be something for me to stand and work.

The reward is it doesnt hurt your legs and You get paid far better.
And further more if you need help in how to go about making this career - please write to me. I might help or point you in the right direction.

my feet hurt after work too ( i work at a hospital and I'm on my feet all day). Sometimes when I get home, I roll my foot over a can (like a veggie can) while I sit on the couch. It feels pretty good..........

Wear orthopedic shoes nurses do. They know a little vanity is not worth pain and life-long foot problems.
